Welcome to the home of original re-creators of the famous 18th century Olde Bulldogge. We have been the premier breeders of Oldes since the late-70's.We set the standard for all other Olde breeders and dog clubs for the past 30 years. Our dogs are all registered PUREBRED through the Continental Kennel Club, not through any bulldog registries. We have not bred outside of our yard, or out-crossed to any other bulldog strain (English, Mastiff, and American) in 25 years. We are the only Bulldogge breeder that is recognized and registered with the A.R.F. (American Research Foundation), who map the creation and recreation of breeds. The versatility, strength, power, and agility of Hermes Olde Bulldogges is second to none, so accept no substitute. First to befriend and foremost to defend, Hermes Olde Bulldogges are of the finest quality, handpicked and family raised to produce exceptional puppies and reliable companions generation after generation, with the most selective breeding regiment known, and guaranteed to satisfy even the most finicky of dog men. Oldes come in a variety of colors that include many shades of brindle, browns,  reds, and whites, but never pure black or any shade of blue or blue brindle, as this is a sure sign of recent out-crosses, which produce inconsistencies in that breeders line.       

     Greg and I (Linda) have raised our children on Bulldogges, and now our kids and our grandkids help carry on the Hermes regiment of Olde Bulldog breeding. Dogs are the only thing we do, the only job we have. We live and breathe Bulldogges We are one of  very few  breeders who are three generations strong, still continuing to raise dogs through many tough economic times as well as sharing the wealth of flourishing economic times. Through the years we stand strong as breeders and businessmen with a long line of satisfied customers singing our praises.            

     Unlike some kennels we encourage coming to our yard, centrally located in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, to hand pick your puppy. Using the modern technology of digital cameras and computers to choose your companion is highly insensitive. With photo shop and a little know-how people can make a picture look perfect to the customer that is why hand picking is the only way, because your puppy gets a chance to choose you as well. But if you can't make it to our yard, having a tried and trusted dog breeder intuitively match you to your new dog is the way to go.              

     We don't use fancy web-pages or beefed-up pictures to sell our dogs. The Royal Shine of or dogs sell themselves. So my suggestion to you the consumer is to check out other web-sites, explore other breeders, and then come back to the root of 9 out of 10 Olde Bulldogge pedigrees in the world.
